Zone Interviews
This is such a great time to get to see all of the missionaries over
a period of about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. We usually go to two zones
a day. This time we had Marinduque come from their island to
Lucena so we could get them all done in the same place. It
worked really well. They started out separate so the zone leaders
could do their workshops in their zones. Then, they came
together for the Assistance to do their workshop for both zones.
Meanwhile, President is pulling them out one at a times for
interviews. The zone leaders taught about setting goals and doing
weekly planning to achieve them. The Assistants did their
workshop on daily planning. At the end, I talked to them about
their Area books and how to keep them neat and orderly and
to update them every day so they can keep track of their
investigator's progress. This is important for the missionaries who
will come to that area in the future. This helps the work to be
effective and that no one gets lost.

to do their daily planning more effectively using the 12 steps on
page 2 of their daily planners...
They seem very attentive to the training they are receiving from
the Assistants... We can see Elders Sinilong, Peck and Sasagi on
the front row...then Elders Torio, Collado picking through,
Edvalson,and Pacunla. In the far back is Elders Clarke
and Pesamino.
Instead of practice teaching this time, they did a practicing daily
planning in each of the companionship's...

Another fun day with the Siniloan Zone for interviews and
workshops! From the left Elders Kartchner, Burton, Sister

Zone Leaders in Santa Cruz Zone, Elders Brewer and Revillo, are
giving their workshop...Elder and Sister Gines are joining them on
the back row, far right side... These Zone Leaders did a great
job teaching their Zone about weekly planning...

Elder Burton ins helping Elders Malit and Talanoa... Elder and
Sister Gines are doing their own studying... They love to come to
these things and bring food and feed everyone a meal. That day
it was fresh green beans cooked with bacon and fresh onions,
a tasty pasta with ground beef and red sauce and a yummy fresh
fruit salad...so nice and so delicious!
Elder and Sister Hansen were good sports and we drug them
around to all the zones. He does reimbursements for the
missionaries who have spent money for medical needs, apartment
needs or other approved items for reimbursing them. Doesn't
Elder look so happy and excited?

I'm impressed he knows how to fold up a tablecloth? :-)
