Transfer Week November 4-6, 2013. Departing Missionaries!

Our going home batch, from the left Elders Seggay, Hansen, Cello,
Howes, Sister Buduan, Elders Thompson and Burton, Me, Elder
Adams, President, Elders Ah Wong, Alvaro, Kartchner, Torculas,
and Tolentino. We will miss them so much!

We are pictured here with Elder Revillo.  He and Elder Manzon
went home a little earlier so didn't get in the batch picture.

Here we are with Elder Manzon...

We had to get a picture with all the Elders with suits!  Aren't they
handsome.  It's too bad that it's too hot to wear them here! They
sure look more professional, huh?

We are pictured here with Elder Alvaro and his family that came to
pick him up!  From the left, his 14 yr. old brother, Father, Mother,
Me, President, Elder Alavro and his 17 yr. old brother.
What a nice family!  It was nice to visit with them!

Getting ready to walk with the luggage to the bus stop...

Sister Buduan was the only Sister going home this time!  That
made it kind of hard on her to not have a regular companion!

Here we go!! Elder Howes leading the way with Elder Merriam
close behind him!
We are walking to the bus stop at the end of the road!

And here we wait for the right bus to come! Back and from the left
is Elders Thompson, Burton and Adams, then, Elders Tolentino,
Hansen, Cello Seggay and Howes.

Elder Alvaro and his family are waving goodbye!

Waiting...

The bus has arrive!

Hugs goodbye... Elder Adams... with Elder Burton looking on...

More hugs...Elder Thompson...

I don't normally get to hug the Elders. However, I hug them
goodbye! I am giving Elder Thompson a hug.  Elders Tolentino,
Seggay and Cello standing by.  Elder Ah Wong is back by
the bus, seeing that his luggage gets loaded on the bus!

 Loading up the bus!
Elders Tolentino and Seggay getting their luggage on!

We can see Elder Thompson and Elder Cello waving goodbye!

I'm not sure, but it looks like President is shedding a few tears as
the bus is loaded and taking off!

We always have a Family Home Evening the night before the
Missionaries depart!  They all bore such strong testimonies. It
helps so much to get to see the growth and strength they have
acquired during their mission!  We have confidence that they will
continue to serve, feast upon the words of Christ and remain
faithful... We love them all!

Mission Presidents Seminar October, 2013 Manila

This is the new batch of Mission Presidents and their wives as of
July, 2013.  They've been out almost 4 months...President and
Sister Balledos (Baguio mission), President and Sister Torres
(Butuan mission), President and Sister Bulseco (Cagayan de Oro
mission), President and SisterRahlf (Cauayan mission), President
and Sister Tanner (Cebu East mission), President and Sister Tye
(Cavite mission), President and Sister Reeder (Naga mission),
and President and Sister Revillo (Quezon City missiona).
President and Sister Guanzon somehow missed getting in the
picture...They must have already gone into the temple!  We had
the great privilege of attending the temple one afternoon during
the seminar!  We sure enjoyed that! I miss going to the temple!

President George Peterson and Elder Mark Ferrin (our In-field
Representative) were mission companions in the Philippines over
40 years ago!  It is a sweet experience that they can work together
again here!

We had a wonderful cultural event on the evening after the
temple.  It was very well done by different Youth and Young
Single adults from around the different missions close to Manila.
Elder Neil L. Anderson and Elder Whitney Clayton and his wife
attended the show and really enjoyed it.

Lucena Stake Conference October, 2013

This is a picture taken at  the Lucena Stake
Conference where President and I had to speak at!  This is Sisters
Lorente and Mecham... They are in Candelaria Ward area.
They are both as sweet as can be...good missionaries!

This was some of the young women and young single adults in
the Lucena Stake.  They love to take pictures in the Philippines!

New Missionary Checkup October, 2013

Sisters Buckey, Ott, Kekauoha, Bennion, Cassanat, Martinez,
Williams, Gespar de Alba, Burt and Seastrand. I'm not sure about
the Elders but I think that is Elders Serna, Evelarion, Minas and
just a little bit of Elder Gray between Sisters Buckley and Ott.

Sister Williams (new trainee) with Sisters Rasmassen and
Lacanieta (trainers). In the background is Sisters Seastrand
(new trainee), and Tafiti (her trainer).

Elders Burbidge (new trainee) and Ano'Os (his trainer). Both are
great missionaries.

Lunch at Ramzi's after the meeting!  It is always a good place
after meetings in the San Pablo Stake Center.  It is good food for
a very good price.  They have wonderful Mango shakes!

Here's 5 of the trainees...Sister Kekauoha, Bennion, Ott, Buckley
and Cassanat.
