Transfer week, January, 2013

These are our missionaries going home in January!  Like I have said
before, it gets harder and harder to let them go! Front row, Elders
Bayla, Ignacio, Basco and Diaz. Back row, Elder Navarro,
President, Me, and Elder Nalesoni.

Elder Navarro repacking...most missionaries do it several times
before they actually leave. :-)

This is a quick picture I took with Elder Basco before we headed
for the bus to Manila.  They will be attending the temple today
and then most will head home tomorrow.

All four of these elders served as Assistants to the President...
Elders Eyre and Bandiola are the current APs, Elders Diaz and
Navarro Served together...Elder Eyre took Elder Diaz's place
who went to serve as a zone leader in Lipa Zone. Six weeks
later, Elder Bandiola took Elder Navarro place who went to
be a trainer.  All four of these missionaries did a great job! We
know that they are future leaders of the Church in their respective
communities.  We love and appreciate all of them!

Here we are waiting for the bus!  Elders Basco, Navarro, Bayla,
Packer and Sister Packer, Elders Ignacio, Nalesoni, Me and
Elder Diaz.

Here we are with Elder Ignacio...

again, with Elder Bayla...

...and with Elder Nalesoni...

President wanted a picture of Elder Nalesoni with his unique
backpack that was gifted to him!

We were waiting quite a while for the right bus!

The bus is finally here...time for one last picture!

Oops,,,I was wrong...Here's the last picture!  Don't you just love
their happy faces?!  President always says that he wants his
missionaries to go home feeling good and "happy" about their
missions!  These did just that...they went home happy!  Elders
Ignacio, Nalesoni, Basco, Bayla, Navarro and Diaz.  They are
great!  We will miss them!

This is the next day (Wednesday) at the airport, picking up our
new foreign missionaries.  Elders Harding (from Utah), Wise
(from Hawaii), Mack (from Georgia), President, Elders
Stephenson (from Utah) and Koloa (from California).  We
have six new local missionaries coming tomorrow morning from
the Manila MTC.  It was an exceptional cool day for Philippines.

Here are the foreign missionaries going to greet the new local
missionaries just pulling up on the bus!

This picture turned out a little blurry, but want to show the
missionaries helping each other across the street with their luggage.

Having breakfast with the new batch of missionaries.Sister Packer,
Elder Delos Santos (Office elder), Elder Bandiola (AP), Villador,
Eyre (AP), Yost (Office elder), Harding and the back of
Elder Packer's head.

Here is the other table with President, Elders Torio, Pulido,
Pelayo, Valdez, Stephenson, Mack, Wise, Koloa and Bugarin.

Here is the new missionaries practicing a song they are singing for
Transfer meeting.

"Cheers to Elder Delos Santos, who is getting transferred out of
the office.  He will be a new Zone Leader Lopez Zone.

Elder Knight and Elder Delos Santos are the Zone Leaders in the
Lopez Zone.  We are going to miss Elder Delos Santos in the
office. He did a very efficient job in all his office responsibilities.
He was great dealing with all the landlords of the many apartments
in the whole mission!  Besides all that, he is a kind, cheerful young
man who loves to serve others! Elder Knight was very ill that day!
I hope he gets better soon!

This is Elder Polatis!  He is a very happy young man!  He is one
of our new trainers!  It wasn't that long ago that he was training!
That tells you he has done very well if he can train already!

Elder Alinsoot and Elder Cello are new companions.  I think they
are very pleased.

Elder Mac Millen and Elder Ah Wong have been companions,
until now.  Elder Mac Millen is a new Zone Leader...with Elder
Nance in Lucena Zone.

Elders Ah Wong, Knight and Cello are hanging around while
their companions are getting reimbursements, mail and supplies
in the office...

We took this batch picture when they came back for their training
checkup, which was four or five weeks later! :-)  From left to
right...Elders Bugarin, Valdez, Pelayo, Pulido, Villiador,
President, Me, Elders Koloa, Wise, Mack, Comamao,
Harding and Stephenson.  Another wonderful batch of
new missionaries!
